The Dam Cottages are a peaceful escape for nature lovers. Built along the edge of our upper dam, stocked with largemouth and spotted bass, these cottages offer a simple, back-to-basics stay reminiscent of a classic backpackers retreat.
There are five units available. Depending on the cottage, each comfortably sleeps two to four guests. Please note that accommodating more than four guests per cottage is by prior arrangement with management.
Each unit is equipped with all the kitchen essentials, as well as an indoor fireplace to keep the chill at bay, except for Dam Cottage A, which is fitted with a heater. All units share a communal kitchen and entertainment area, complete with a pizza oven and braai facilities, making it ideal for relaxed family gatherings.
Fishing rods and kayaks are available at the dam, although guests are welcome to bring their own and enjoy a paddle alongside our resident flock of geese.
The dam is a tranquil place to slow down, whether you are lying in a hammock, listening to the gentle flow of water, or watching the sun set behind the mountain peaks.
